    Donald Sutherland smiled at me a few weeks ago in Old Montreal so I have seen 2 Hawkeyes as I met Alan Alda on the Arran ferry once.

    After the liberation of France in 1944, Laval was arrested by the French government under General Charles de Gaulle.
