    a group of alive soldiers would go unnoticed if they looked dead

    I assume you mean a group of alive soldiers...

    Nope, OK, I'll give a clue...

    It was more to do with the home front rather than the military.

    Hm... I was thinking about... I don't know what I was thinking about :D , but my guess is: using it to "paint" people who would then be shown in propaganda photos as... i don't know... proof of German war crimes?

    They would expose the blood to harmful biological and other elements to see what would happen ?

    Did they consider feeding it to people because of Britains crippling food shortage ?

    Yep.

    The main ingredient for a British dish called "Black Pudding" is animal blood. At one stage during WWII there was a shortage of most food, however a surplus of donated blood, so serious consideration was apparently given to using the surplus blood for Black Pudding.

    Luckily things didn't get that bad...

    What infantry unit made the stand at Kapyong with 2 PPCLI and also recieved a Presidential Unit Citation ?
