It's the third battalion of the Royal Australian regiment.

Someone else can post a question now.

Well done CSP. An impossible question.

Now for another (hopefully) impossible question.

    How did David Douglas die?

"Who was David Douglas?" I hear you cry. David Douglas was the man whom the Douglas Fir Tree was named after.

It is a Fir tree that was named after David Douglas!

Seriously though, a Google search of images should give you a picture of one.

Isn't is not quite sure what killed him? Something about a bull, a fall, and an Austrailan?

Zhukov. Correct guess on the 1 in 3.

A direct result of the fall, killed him, but not the fall itself.

    Ok, let me think here....

After the Spanish Amarda was defeated in 1588, how many years did it take until they lost the very last of their overseas possessions, marking the official end of the Spainish empire?

Zhukov, you don't have the full answer yet...

I's guessing he fell (out of a tree? :D ) on a bull who subsequently trampled him, or something.

Roel is right, Zhukov you have not answered the question, you are merely on the right track.

Roel you are closer than you might think. His demise did involve both a fall & and an animal.

Oh sorry, forgive me, I thought the jump killed him, but I guess I jumped the gun on that one. :D

Did he fall and land on the bull's horn?

This is truely starting to get impossible.

No, and the animal involved was not a bull. (No Bull!) ;) :)
