Since no-one's likely to get it without a clue that completely gives it away...

An individual is identified in a document discovered in the orginal Resident Evil Game with my name, Simon Ross (now you know what the R stands for), so I'm the unlikely connection between the Forum and the original Resident Evil.

OK I know it was a tricky one, but this is the "Impossible Quiz" after all! ;) :D

You could have got it if you had played the game, at the very least since I asked the question it might have been guessed that the connection was something to do with me.

It was an Impossible Question for an Impossible Quiz, if you want to have the next one and ask the forum the Nationality of your wife go ahead, I wont complain and at least that would be an easier one to offer hints on.

I'd guess Mexican (By birth at any rate), but in any case that wasn't actually a question... ;)

    Not very impossible, but...

Which contains more rivets, the Eiffel Tower or a Lancaster bomber?

I'd guess from the wording of the question that it would be a Lanc, although that's not really too surprising if true, the tower will use larger rivets and not need all that many, by comparison the Lanc would need a large number of much smaller rivets.

Just a random guess, but very mabye it could be possible that there is a chance that it can not be completely excluded that it might be the Eiffel Tower?

Ah ha -- I was reading a book on this the other day:

Latimeria Chalumnae is the scientific name for the Coelacanth -- thought to be extinct for about 60 million years.

First one caught in late 1938, off the Chalumna River in South Africa

The scientist who recognised it as a new species was named Courtney-Latimer.

    Any more info needed?
