post subject Must ask. What has happened to Ritterkreuz and Dupe? Over fifty posts each in one week and then complete silence. Where have they gone?

Greetings, one and all! Don't tell Marcus, but I decided tonite to join this forum, too! I wish I had known about it before!! Now, by way of introduction: I currently serve as a deputy sheriff, in the corrections division, in Michigan. Before I came up here, I was a police officer in North Carolina. I went full time with the PD when I retired from the USMC as a Staff Sergeant. I've read about WWII since I was a pre-teen. In the past 5-10 years, I've gotten better at studying the war. Big difference! I so some part-time work making maps for The Aberjona Press. Working with them has brought me in direct contact with 3 German vets, and indirect contact with 2 more. I'm also working on a divisional history of 6.SS-Nord. However, that work is rather on hold. I'm hoping that I can work my way into a series of German language classes this winter, so I can continue my research. It's a b*tch trying to do research when you can't read the bloody material!! Tom
Welcome to the forum, Tom! All deserters from the Axis History Forum are very welcome here, don't worry. It seems our propaganda there has worked! Certainly so. That is an interesting study you're working on, I would very much like to see some of it in the future!
Welcome tom! Oh yeah: for translating we have our allround translator Roel, he usually translates stuff. (if it is not too much, though) so if you really have a problem: ask him!
