I just wanted to re-introduce myself to all the people who have joined in my absence. I know all of you will enjoy this website as it is easily my favorite and all the people on here are extremely intelligent and fun to talk to.

My name is Pat, I'm 18 and I'm from Winnipeg Manitoba but I'm currently waiting to start college at the University of Arkansas. A little ways from home if you ask me.

Oh yeah, if you have MSN my email is jalapeno87@hotmail.com

    Hello.

My name is Lukasz, but I like to be referred to as Wolf :] I am Polish, I study English phliology and my main passion is football (especially Real Madrid, I'm an editor of RealMadrid.pl - the biggest Polish Real Madrid fansite). A few pages earlier you had a short lesson of foreign languages :p If you feel like learning Polish, start from looking at my signature :)

As far as history and military are concerned, I am interested mainly in the Polish Defensive War 1939 and further involvement of Polish soldiers in World War II, but I do not consider myself as a superb expert in the subject (neither am I ashamed of my knowledge n other areas of WW II ;) ).

And I'd like to thank Skua for his kind help and solving my account problems. :)

    True. Didn't even notice :D

In that case, try reading this:

"Boże, daj mi wewnętrzny spokój, abym przyjął rzeczy, których nie potrafię zmienić, daj mi odwagę, abym zmienił rzeczy, które mogę zmienić i daj mi mądrość, abym rozróżnił pierwsze od drugich" - A quotation by Christoph Oetinger.

    Hello everybody

I know it probably seems very strange to you all having a girlie joining your Forum and very many thanks for leting me join this previously very male territory, but I have had so many laughs reading the 3 word story over Simons shoulder I just had to join in myself.

I am not going to get involved in the grown up discussions such as tanks and planes etc as these are completely beyond me. I'll leave that to Simon. I have to let him be better than me at some things.

For those of you who have not already guessed I am the long suffering wife of The Toastinator aka Simonr1978.

Anyhow, enough Girlie chat from me. See you around the forum.

    Caroline

My posts might add a new dimension but I'm not sure if they will be that civilising.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome..

A most gracious welcome, my fair lady. :)

If you think that is funny, you should read the first one.

Ask Skua how to find it! ;) :D

Welcome Che, Kingtiger, Airwolf, and of course Caroline!

There has been one female member here before that I seem to remember, however, I can't find her back in the Memberslist. Maybe it was all in my head anyway... ;)

I've noticed an influx in the number of new members in the last week or two, but few, if any, have yet to post anything.

Should we call Scotland Yard? Or maybe our often heated discussions have scared them away.

Maybe we should put a disclaimer on the forum:

"Abandon hope, all ye who enter"

Just noticed the new members, welcome.
    Caroline;
it's boys' toys we're talking about, we just throw in the odd technical word now and then to make it look grown-up.

Yeah, the real grown up discussions are those about battles and strategies of course! ;)
