I fully agree with Clint here. Ive heard it all now, the NKs blew up the oil platform. It might be hard to sneak into the Gulf a sub-even if a miniature one because of several things including this, a good portion of the Gulf of Mexico-aint that deep-which means that in some areas-that sub would have to swim through mud in order to get close enough to one of those oil platforms. I know-because I live right here and have been to many areas of the GoM-been out fishing on oil platforms and some sit in water that you could wade in.
Heh heh, Pete, and here it was that I THOUGHT you hated watching James Bond movies along with DCBGDM (SP?)
North Korean Minisu.... I laughed my ass off for this!!! Maybe there were just North Korean rowboats that were sinking...
Update on the Kim Jung-il regime, N Korea is still being a bit of a pain over the sinking. SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- North Korea vowed Saturday to launch an all-out attack against South Korean loudspeakers and other propaganda facilities along their heavily fortified border, warning it could even turn Seoul into a "sea of flame." See: News from The Associated Press
There has been no official proof claiming that it was NK who sank it.... The investigation is still going on.....
I believe the indepenent international investigation is complete, and reported that it was a torpedo which sank the ship. Not a mine, not an internal explosion (like the USS Maine in Havana harbor). The North refutes the findings, but refuses to send its own investigation team to the ship and site. Wouldn't matter, they won't admit to being the source of the disaster even if they knew full well they were.
Actually its south that refused to allow any north korean investigation team to conduct investigation
