Off course he got help from his dad. Without good connections - from his dad - you can hardly set up a large oil company.

Is it accidentely that a lot of - oil friends - are in the current government.

I think that moderators do not have why to delete a thread. Simply and more logically, members mustn't post things that deserve to be deleted.

Too true Firedrich..I for one have never started a political thread, they dont belong here, I do though reserve the right to to not idly stand by while others are allowed to spout one side of a story without envisaging a response.

Best bet is not to start political threads in the first place. But once they are started the train rolls on until it hits the barriers.

Not that your question could have been envisaged as the start of such a thread by the by.

One thing, though...didnt the second world war have anything to do with politics...

And we are all allies, at least it gives us a good example of how world war ONE...errupted.
