I'm looking for a good source of information about the Mauser BK27 revolver cannon used by, amongst others, the Typhoon. Should this question have been posted in the Aircraft Forum?
http://www.canit.se/~griffon/aviation/text/akandata.htm and I would imagine that Tony Williams' book "Flying Guns: The Modern Era" would have a heap of info as well: http://www.quarry.nildram.co.uk/ Any of his books are worth getting (and keeping).
I have "Rapid Fire" by Anthony G. Williams (Tony Williams?), but this doesn't say much about the BK 27. The "Flying Guns" books are rather expensive, so I would like to browse through one before I buy one. But thanks for the info.
Yup, that's Tony. Only when buying - they're worth hanging onto for ages so it works out at pennies per year. Good readable books with hard data, I wouldn't be without the ones I have, and plan on getting the full set of his books.
