I think the FG-42 was rare, far and few between during it's day. It glorified in several games, but I never saw one in a film or documentary.
Cause i now that about 7000 were produced, were are those??? If i get that weapon ill be the happiest man alive.
If you want to expand a little, then check out some deactivated stuff from the former Warsaw Pact countries (PPSh, SKS, AK-47, AMD, and lots more; I would suggest as a start to look at www.vatera.hu, seller=musko)!
Took this from a Call Of Duty: World At War gaming magazine: "The FG-42, this RARE German rifle was used by the German Paratroopers, but because of its expense and a few technical flaws, it never saw widespread use in WWII".
Here is my newest buy, a Zeltbahn. I cant say that it is perfect condition... It has many holes, maybe it got hit by a grenade
Now i have posted a video on youtube with most of my german stuff... Check it out: YouTube - Part 1: German things World War 2 collection
I don't know what the things are in any of the remaining pics-cept for the middle one-which appears to be the remnants of a German MG-34 bipod.
Well... I guess i do, but i keep the room locked and the bolt on the Mauser K98 is in my dads safe and the bolt on the Krag Jørgensen is not possible to get out... Im pretty careful with the weapons, even if they are deactivated...
Erich: if I may a suggestion if you re-do your collection pics please do not use the psych0 zebra stripes as your background ..... ..... Reply to Erich: But it's my couch I just took the picture there cause i was going away that day...
