    Thanks! It's known as Stalin-Tito split of 1948. Yugoslavia had bad relations with the USSR until 1955. Tito's standing up to Stalin made him a well respected throughout the world and mostly in the western countries and later non-aligned ones.

    Agree with that. When I heard him mentioned in the US it was always along the lines of "He's cool."
