Oh my! I want to play! But, I can't see the pic on Hawkeye's post. Help!
Based on the other guesses, I'll go with Renault R-35/39, unless it's wearing spats and a longer gun, then it's an R-40. ??

Ok I give up, cuckoo was a captured Panther used by the British British 6th Guards Tank brigade.
My guess is our mystery vehicle is one of a number of captured Pz III coverted by the Soviets by mounting a 76mm gun in a Stug like casemate. The fittings and the superstructure point to the original vehicle being a Pz III not a Stug on the same chassis.

AFAIK they were called SU-76i and over a 100 of them were "produced"

Congrats TOS, you got it! Hey that wasn´t that hard, wasn´t it? Cuckoo is a good name for a thing that isn´t made by the now owner of it!

Seems that this one hasn´t had the phenomenal good design that other italian products has. The Fiat 2000?

Yes a FIAT 2000, hadn't seen this pic of it before, I esapecially liked what looks like a "Fascist Youth" on top to make it look even bigger than it actually was.
