This vehicle was from the same base vehicle, it had one major difference to them though. A minor difference on the recognition front is the shape of the bow which is more rounded than the T86.

For a Christmas bonus I will put you out of your misery and since gunbunnyb/3/75FA was the closest it must be his go.

The vehicle is the T86E1 which had a different bow shape to the T86 and more importantly had propellers fitted at the rear.

Never seen it from this angle before.

Christie M1921, (the rebuilt M1919). Armed with a 6pdr mounted in the front plate and 2 mg in side sponsons. It initially impressed the US defence department who were going to adopt it, but as trials progressed too many faults became apparent and it was dropped in favour of the ordnance designed Model A (1921) which had a turret, was more reliable and better track life.

If there's something more surprising than the tank with biplane wings, I will be surprised indeed! ;)

M2 light tank, possibly on Guadalcanal, the Marines used a few of them there. Not a "floater" but fitted for wading ashore in surf, with the extended air intakes/exhausts.

Sort of the right area for both but not there yet. It is in an unusual pose and guise.
