I don't have this game either, but since no one else answered I did a quick search and here's what I got.

My guess is Battlestations: Pacific Assault

 

That's a good guess, but it's not correct. It is of course the Pacific Theater of Operations though.

 

Time for a few clues maybe.

At very beginning of the game when loading screen first pops up a cartoon picture shows 2 planes in aerial combat.

Next thing it shows (still in cartoon format) is a bright white moon hovering over the Pacific ocean and a small island is visible in the background.

Game features training missions where you can learn maneuvers needed to stay alive in the game, such as the "Immelman", which was named after WWI ace Max Immelman.

 

One more clue: The game/sim also features a Free Flight mode.
