Yes it is from a war movie It's a classic with a couple of very big names in it as well. It's in Color and came out in the early 60's. One actor went on to produce a TV series about "Monkeys" and "Beetles" and another went on to fly spitfires in the "Battle of Britain". What the other actor did in "WW2" would give it away.
It HAS to be Father Goose w/ Cary Grant, Leslie Caron, Trevor Howard and Michael Pate-as Evans-the Australian Coast-watcher. The scene is when the oldest of the stranded girls-the one with the glasses-who falls in love with the, Mr. Eckland, the Grant character, just finished trying something and the Grant character turns the tables on her scaring the s__! out of her.:lol:
Heh heh, and I THINK I got it too ;-)) BTW, im doing this by memory only-no IMDBing or Googling involved-thats cheating
Nicely played Carl.......I thnk Bobby and I learned about 50 pages ago to check IMDB before putting up a quote. As an administrative note: IMDB and Google are okay to confirm a guess; but, using them exclusively ist nicht bueno. Tee it up
Heh heh, thank ya and, I really do try to remember them but, even some of the simplest of stuff I SHOULD know, always escapes me. Ill post one soon as I can think of a good one.
You got it. And for Bobby, ill skip using quotes from that movie as it puts a major strain on his tired brain :lol:
The problem with that movie is that rookies come on this thread and throw that one out as if nobody's ever watched that movie before. It's been used about a dozen times already. Jeeeeeez.
Heh heh, it was all I could think of at the spur of the moment. Next time it'll be difficult and no easy clues either
Same as above on the Grant flick, I have seen that movie but cant thing of a title. Hint bitte. This time Bobby is scratching his head so hard hes rubbed a bald spot on top.
