I forgot, that quote was from a WW1 movie. Actually not a real WW1 movie, just a few scenes were set in WW1 France. It was from "The Razor's Edge". Lame movie, but the few trench fighting scenes were pretty good. Here's one from a WW2 movie.. "Tell the general the Americans are learning how to retreat".
Well, I know the quote is exactly as such in Forrest Gump, but I'm not sure what other film it might be in.
