    I think its of the Minas Gerais Class Battleships from Brazil,

    I do believe its the Sao Paulo,

    No, It saw action in the early days of the war in the ETO for one of the combatants there.

    pre-dreadnought, Deutschland class, either Deutschland, Pommern, Hannover, and most probably, Schleswig-Holstein.
    She did open fire on Danzig, Poland.

    funny Jeff I've posted the ship before as it is in my collection...

    in this case in 1945 it is the Linienschiff Schleßien, when it was doing Flak ship duties against the Soviet A/C in the Baltic. I own a very very rare Mützenband (cap Tally) from one of her shipmates

    yes she got smakced finally by Soviet dive bombers but limped back toward German occupied territory before the KM crew sunk and she became a land/sea borne flak platform till she was burned out.......

    Hint: This an old US battleship that was used in WWII but not as a battleship.

    It was named after the state I live in. Its the BB-3/ IX-22 USS Oregon. :)
