    There was an airfield in the area of the picture shown above.

    OK here is an area (circled in green) vital to the WWII effort

    1) Lots of Civilians (from around the USA) came here to work (and a lot stayed!)
    2) Not too far from here the USS Indianapolis was loaded with a vital cargo
    3) Billy Mitchell passed by this area on his way to a surprise party

    Where am I? What was going on here in WWII??
