...which is in Dubois, WY, USA. It's well worth the price of admission and is very well done. Other than the USA 's vehicles (which includes tanks and other AFVs) as well as motorized transport and weapons) there are vehicles from Britain, Germany, Italy and Japan. Some good examples of amphibious vehicles are also showcased. Vets get in free!
Website: NMMV.org | Home Never heard of this place, but they have quite a large selection of US vehicles. Thanks for sharing.
I've been through there twice, heading for Yellowstone Park, and both times time constraints kept me from visiting. Next time !!! We passed by Heartland Museum of Military Vehicles - Lexington, NE - Home in Nebraska more than a few times and finally had time to stop and take a look. Another place to definitely put on a must see list.
Covid constraints kept it from opening until late this summer. The guy who did this obviously has (had?) tons of money. He really did a nice job on the building and the displays. One thing I appreciate about his effort is that he's kept his name out of the whole project and has dedicated it entirely to the vets. I can respect a fellow who can keep his ego under control.
I recall hearing about this being built just a couple years ago or so. I was surprised by how "under the radar" it was. Thanks for refreshing my memory harolds. The end result is amazing. I'll have to stop in for a visit.
