I've just done a quick count....done another one cos I was gobsmacked...Someone take that pistol off Biak...And did another count discounting the chaff half pushed thru ones...Counted cowboys...lots and lots...and trust me...not trust ee...thats yorkshire as in trust thee...Trust me...Hey I'm a Brit you should trust a Brit...Cowboys outnumber us indians 120 to 1....I'm not worried though....just changing my name now I'm officially one of the few...It had to happen...Being RAF and all..I wish now to be known as my Indian name...Merrrr....He who wears fleece and strikes by night....Biak wanted Lady boy but I've managed to persuade him it don't go with out whooping indian call....Cac walked out in disgust...

This is getting serious. Urgh, your little scenario reminds me of a famous Clifton Cates quote:
“I have only two men out of my company, and 20 out of some other company. We need support, but it is almost suicide to try to get it here as we are swept by machine gun fire, and a constant barrage is on us. I have no one on my left, and only a few on my right. Iwill hold.”
    ~ Signed ~ 1st Lt. Clifton B. Cates USMC 19 July 1918

We got this, go get us some help.

Congratulations Ulrich, you have always been a fine gentleman and I am sure you'll be a fine trustee.

Tommy, I don't know you as well as I do Ulrich, but my impressions of you have always been favorable. Congratulations and I am sure you too will be a splendid trustee.

Now back to the perimeter to await Urgh's return with reinforcements!

urgh only wants my pistol because he figured out I'd be behind him as we go for help. I said I'd follow him and if he goes for reinforcements there forth I go too. Still don't have any bullets though. As for the whooping Indian call; "When I'm calling You-awa-you-awa-you"! Better run along now.

Maybe not Nelson Eddy and Jennette McDonald, more like Dudley and Nell :)

Thanks for the kind words, folks.

This is an inauspicious start for me. I have been offline since just before Jeff's post and just got his PM.

Ah, well. As I understand the Trustee position, it involves all the responsibility of a Mod with none of the glamour or respect. That pretty much sums up every job I've ever had in a nutshell. ;)

    About time you showed up....

Urqh, USMC can't go left, he'll have to go right with me. We'll surround them that way. Oh, we're making a circle now I see. Time to make for the Alamo! Where are them Texicans when you need them....
