    I think John Wayne was Savoy 6 in the Huey.He was calling 'Bulldog' on the ground.
    Speaking of 'Savoy',who or what is the 'Savoy Special'?

    Here's a clue.'Savoy Special' had a twin called 'Wonder Boy'.
    Who or what is the 'Savoy Special'?

    General Patton had a distant cousin(also a Virginian) who was also a famous military man.
    hint..they lived at the same time and fought in some of the same wars.

    Patton is famous now, Pershing was famous then. Pershing fits the requirements, but there seems to be more than a generation between them?
