    China, at least (For the Japanese at least) the Chinese did not push all the way into the Japanese homeland.

    It would be a whole lot better if we just joined the damn Euro, unless the exchange rates are favourable to us. Tourists, that is, although if we join the Euro it would increase British exports massively, thus creating more money in the economy, less unemployment etc etc.
