    My blind bud from college (60's) plays a twelve string with such intricacy, and expression that he only used his six string acoustic for public perfomance,and his Gretch electric "Astro" since it could accept wonderfully stetchable strings. Better (in his touch) than the two Fenders he owned. It isn't "noise".

    Where is your "option One or option two" for the following? Following what?

    it wouldn't be noise if wellplayed (I was just thinking about my brother:D)

    The next option question is the trick itself, what "would" you chose?

    Not "what" are you choosing - so the option comes before the question in this one;).

    If "I" could play either with any skill, I would be amazed. I still enjoyed the 12 string used by those who "knew how" to use them.
