    muesli.

About time to close this endless thread or not?

Seriously we have been considering closing this thread for quite a while now , it really doesn't bring anything to the forum except posting four letter posts. Would anybody really mind if I got rid of this ? Let me know I'd like your opinion first.

maybe we could start a new one with new conditions, for instance get the topic related to WWII only.

There are quite a few threads that bring nothing to the Forum. This thread brings nothing to the forum; but, it also takes nothing away. If you are concerned about padding post counts then move it to "The Stump". The first several pages are almost exclusively Moderators and Administrators posting.

Good idea, but it still doesn't make the sentences any longer.

What that's supposed to mean ? My question was shall I leave this open or Not? And the stump has nothing to do with this . So Collector : wants to keep it. Jug is your answer Yes or No ? I'll wait for more opinions.

I think this is a great thread... I know my presence is pretty scarce these days, but I remember being a young recruit in a world of seasoned users. This thread opens doors of comfortable conversation, inside glimpses of each others profile. Whether it's WWII related or not, it's about the interaction and forming a better online engagement! Hopefully this helps ;)

    All the best,

    Jem

What I said was that if you are concerend about members padding their post counts then treat this thread like the stump; where posts made in this thread don't count towards post counts.

As far as everything else either close it or leave it alone, you have never asked permission or input when closing a thread before so why ask now?
