I'd like to see the one of German womens Aux/ services. I have two photos with German women in somekind of service. One is a good-looking Frau who is in Luftwaffe uniform and the other is Fraus who I guess are being trained as firefighters.
I ordered two titles for a few days ago. 'German Army Elite Units' and 'Arnhem 1944'. I will buy the Soviet Heroines' book when it's available. Best regards/ Daniel
And just last night--I ordered the Fokker Tri-planes Aces Osprey book I gotta keep up with Erich on the books.
Sounds good Carl! I recommend the book about Baltic volunteers which I find very interesting. Do you guys have any recommendations? Best regards/ Daniel
Hi Daniel--my favorite Osprey was the 5 part series on the German Army. It was the Men At Arms the German Army 1939-1945. They recently came out with all 5 done as one book--so I bought it too. Another Osprey title I liked alot was the one on the Freikorps--a must have if you want a better idea why the German Military was like it was in WW2. The Freikorps book of course doesn t go to ww2 but--it does help in understanding the German position better.
