His name was Telek, which showed his true colors when the nazi brass came to Eisenhower's headquarters in France to sign the papers of surrender...he reportedly growled when the nazi's left.
spot on...told you it was easy...your up class of 42.... One of the Patton biographies I have read described a very famous fight betyween Telek and Pattons dog, Willie. Eisenhower was less than pleased about the disruption, but Willie had gottwen the better of Telek, causing Patton to yell as he and Willie were shown the door by Ike himself, "Yes, Ike, but you have to admit, my Willie chewed the arse out of your Telek!" One of the great classic moments of ww2 in my humble view....
