don't believe there was any connection at all, although the period is about right - the two designers may have talked. Definitely not an actual boarhound chassis, very different.

This one never went past the model stage.

 

Didn´t found anything about an 8-wheeler with hydraulic chassis! Give me more infos please.

 

ok - the same designer also chucked out a 4x4; also didn't go beyond model stage.
