    I would say yes on the prototype, it was abandoned for poor results ;)

    Oh, i banned him from that other quiz i posted about the Volksgewehr, but i am sure he's watching us. It is all right Nigel, you can come out now.

    Was the country that this gun came from neutral in world war 2?

    No.Final hint, the gun is pre-world war two, and the country it is from was active in both first, and second world war. the model year is 1918. If you can't guess it, i'll tell you, and you can post a question anyways :)

    To the first pic, it was short before the British were running away and the second is what was the rest of the expeditionary force in Norway???
