WW2 Red Army Training Film on the strengths and weakness points of the Heinkel 162 Jet Fighter / Bomber. (11 Minutes.)

Vastly superior to its Allied counterpart. One really has to wonder if the Allies had tactically superior training films like these, if Allied kill ratios might have been higher.

Excellent quality film stock of the interior and exterior of the Messerschmitt Me 262.

    - Second half of the film records a Soviet flight test with the aircraft.

    Thanks to: http://www.youtube.com/user/QuarX

Trying to find the link with commentary.

    Bell P-39 Airacobra. (37 Minutes.)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_P-39_Airacobra

The P-39 was used with great success by the Soviet Air Force, which scored the highest number of individual kills attributed to any U.S. fighter type.
50% of all US Airacobra production aircraft went to the Soviet Air Army.

I am hoping to find the Red Army Training Film for this aircraft.

The Douglas A-20/DB-7 Havoc light bomber and night fighter aircraft Quizcraft Aircraft Recognition Film. Disney Production. (Minutes.)

"The bomber aircraft was known as Boston among British and Commonwealth air forces, while the Royal Air Force night fighter variants were given the service name Havoc.

The United States Army Air Forces assigned the DB-7 the designation "A-20" and gave it the popular name "Havoc"."

This was one of my Dad's fav's. He never explained why. Must have had at least one ride in it though. He had quite a collection of books on it.

Many of these have been posted before, but it's nice having them all in one place.

For lack of a better place to put this... All in all quite the period piece.

    Pre - 1940 RAF Recruitment ? Film. (41 Minutes.)

Take a gander at the rear gunner clip starting near the 10 minute mark. Gak!!!!

"Every pilot is taught to drop bombs, though use of them has become negligible." (25 minutes in...)

The Aerobatics clip at the 38 minute mark was the hook that got many a pilot into the RAF.
    - my memory banks are full of stories about first impressions of these.

What a truly amazing wealth of information here!

Does anyone know of any WW2 RAF films on the instruction of taking-off & flying a Spitfire? Or discussing fighter tactics?

The only ones I can find are the Guncam practice film posted above, and this newsreel which describes an ideal attack run on a German bomber:

There are several fighter tactics videos - earlier in this thread.
None that I know of for Spits. I think you were ± just shown the controls before being told "Off you go!"
If you find more, be sure to post it here! Tnx!
