Hello. Sorry Ricky I was sleeping, It is a M4 towing armoured sledges. An experimental project to tow "train" of armoured sledges,each with an infantryman inside,for the assault role under fire,also tested by the British never reched service it was impractical. Here the German version,but I dont remember where I found it.
Stories tell that russians used similar armored sledges during Winter War. Apparently not with good success.
At least the German one looks a lot more pratical and comfortable than the American design. I will try to scan and post the picture of this tool as seen in Steven J. Zaloga's "The Sherman at War - 2".
