This really is taking the biscuite.

I would like say I heard this on the radio before looking it up. And yes I found it in the Daily Mail. :p

Would this very same council fine a Charity for releasing hundreds of balloons? I have a feeling no they would not.

It's getting that bad here too mate. Didn't someone very wise (Ben Franklin) once say something like: "A little revolution every now and then, is a good thing." ;-D

The ranting thread is back, yahoooooooooooooo. :D

WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THE BANKING MESS IN THE UK? GORDON BROWN IS RESPONSIBLE.

Flash back 1997 chancellor Gordon Brown removes the banking regulations resulting in the mess we are in now. And Mr Brown wants the banking regulations back all because of his mess we pay the price.

Gordon Brown never went to this country in 2005 for a mandate for government it was Tony Blair, so why is he prime minister? He should had held a general election within three months of taking over from Tony Blair but no he did not. Bottler Brown is a sham and I do not recognize him has Prime Minister.

    GPS's that don't work ahhhh.

There was a story here about an it idiot who followed his GPS to the letter. a perfectly straight road, no turn offs what so ever, and the GPS said turn left 10 metres, so the driver turned left as told and ended up in a clearly visable pond. haha.

You spend all your money on equipment that dosn't even work, I hate that.

Tomcat, when I took my driving lessons I was taught to look at the road, maybe I neglected to pay for the stupidity supplement.

That is weird considering that I was told that too, and yet they have GPS, in car DVD players and stereos with lots of gidgets and gadgets.

But I was more reffering that to any bit of electrical appliance, whether it be a new computer that plays up, or it is a $2000 Tv that just looks crap.

Or a bloody mobile with a camera. I have a camera! A pretty good one too! Whenever I have to swap mobiles I insist on taking one without a camera. When I'm asked why I say I already have a dishwasher and it doesn't have a camera, so why should my mobile have a bad quality camera? It would be more useful if it had a bottle opener!

Could the problem be where you live?

Traffic lights. Do I have to say anything more?

There is a main street here in Rockhampton where I live, and if you leave at the wrong time in the morning you hit all 15 sets of lights and it can add some 10minutes on a trip that takes around 15mins to do. It is very furstrating and it drives me insane. I know it all depends on the amount of traffic on the other roads running across the main street but it still drives me crazy when all you want to do in the afternooon is go home and bang, a redd light that just never changes.

Well that too, Red lights that never turn Green AARGH.

My stock of Turkeys for xmas is about to go to shops. Ive been out with wife and helpers all year, cost of feed is 2000 quid a week at moment. Labour intensive, but the life Ive decided to live now. And its great dont know why I didnt do it before. But the cost of your chicken is high to you. My Turkeys will go to select farmers shopping outlets. They are expensive, about 25 quid a throw. But there is a market for quality stuff. The chickens I gave up on last year. All the work hours and feed and supermarket took em for 75p each. Sold em for anything between 2 and 4 quid with offers of 2 for one etc, I lost 350 quid at end of the deal. A years graft for nothing. But you got your chicken dinner. The supermarkets charged you that not me. Id have been glad to have made the price of one chicken out of the deal just for experiences sake.
I learnt my lesson. Only supply high end market animals, its the only way I can survive. Im not moaning the works hard but my choice, and certainly different from anything Ive done in past, but there is no fortune to be had in this country for small farmers that I can see.
Cheep diesel etc? All the dairy perks? I wish... I get my land ploughed for beetroot etc only iwth borrowed time and machines from other locals. If I didnt I wouldnt be able to survive.
But again my choice. But if you want to take issue with the cost of your food as I did myself little more than 2 years ago, take it up with the supermarket.

My turkeys will cost you now...but then again Ive learnt my lesson.

    Here is a real gem.......

Complaints soar over 'silent' phone calls | Mail Online

Yea they really get on my nerves these damn automated dialing systems. There you are saying hello any one there and no blasted answer, those bloody machines should be outlawed today. :gatlinggun: :telephone: :tommygun:
