Amazing photos Merlin, thank you very much. Do you get the awesome priviledge of watching these battles... I mean reenactions? These photos are great, but I too am waiting for Kriegspfarrer to post some. He must have hundreds.

I watch whenever I can (don't move too well these days, would certainly struggle with Comet hatch!) but usually act as 'elderly' advisor to the lads! They are a great bunch and do alot for charity, I'll put you some of the party pics in!

    Overload

    Are those glasses authentic? :D

Seriously though, merlin, these guys seem to get it right down to the tiniest detail, at least to my wholly unprofessional eye. Cheers to them, and to you for sharing.

    glasses

I'm sure that the drinking glasses are quite authentic!!!!!
Some of the eye glasses are pretty close, I stll have a pair of mine about some where, specified for me by a German POW eye-specialist at Mestre, I did have two pairs but gave one away to a lad who worked for me in the 'Beetles' era. They have flat thin steel side pieces supposed to fit flat under a gas mask (doesn't work) to prevent gas inlet! Round lenses with which you could light a cigarrette in Egypt like a magnifying glass.
The 'Tigers' lads are very tight on details, all drill is from ww2 manuals and no fancy unearned medals etc.
I have been a little embarrassed by posting so many pics, but have had PM's for close up details from people on this Forum, and there a quite a number of events scheduled for this year.
The glasses on'04jpeg' pic are authentic.
