    Well, Hitler was convinced he would win so none of your objections would make sense to him.

    Practically all of Hitler's decisions helped shorten the war, that's why the SOE dropped all plans of assassinating Hitler. He was more useful alive than dead!

    Za is very correct in my opinion. There was no greater ally to the Allied powers than Hitler. His over-reaching, ill-concieved, and just plain insane ideas assured his defeat more than all of the plans of all the generals arrayed against him.

    How many troops in how many divisions did Hitler have to meet the dday threatwith and how many in the whole western front.?
