I need to make a statement here concerning this thread.

There are some issues that aren't readily apparent if you simply read this thread alone. Out of respect for privacy I must be sparing with details, but there are a few factors that make this issue much more complex that it seems on the surface.

Some people have posted, PM'd or emailed me about respect for veterans and similar issues. I share your concerns, I have the utmost respect for our veterans.

As I said, there are however, a few layers of context unavailable to most who simply read this thread. As is often the issue on the internet, one's true identity and their online personas aren't always the same thing, and it is very easy to pose as another person, or post for another person or what have you. I'm not saying this has happened, just that this is the nature of the broader issue here.

m kenny should not be vilified, he was privy to information that most were not. If this thread was the entirety of the situation, m kenny would have been banned immediately, but as I said there were other factors. In truth, m kenny should be praised, I asked him to keep quiet about certain issues, and he has done so to a fault. He's kept quiet even when what he could say would have portrayed him in a much better light.

I'm truly sorry that Sgtleo has decided to leave, it is a shame and it's truly unfortunate.

Please do not ask me for further clarification on the issue, the OKF has handled things to the very best of our ability, and a great deal of effort has gone into this. The current situation is regretable, but unavoidable.

I'll leave it at that.
