they are out there JT but the question for all military medals/badges from any country is what you are willing to pay for. I have seen pristine AS S-Boot Abzeichen go for 750 plus Euro's I paid 600.00 US cash for my Schwerin which has the salty and used look much of the Gold does not remain but it is a classic looking badge, my Favorite KM Badge actually out of all of them in the Wehrmacht arsenal. I am looking at another one right now along with another S-Boot Ukrunde to go with it as display. Huge investment but worth it in my regard.

wonderful fotos of your fine collection

here is my worn example for comparison to your clean RS S-Bootabzeichen, the guilt on the Schwerin does not remain either

JT your Schwerin Minesweeper the foto is a bit darkened to show overall yellow but it appears all the guilt is in good condition is the uprising wave silver or is it wearing off to the old tarnished gold ?

R.S. is one of my favorite makers-same as F.O. and Assmann. I have two CCC's and its been awhile since I last looked but, I THINK they both are F.L.Ls??? (Friedrich Linden of Ludensheid) Will have to dig them out sometime to look see/

Hi Skip, you must have some Police blood in ya because, thats the correct way to use your noodle on WWII German stuff. I used to get the same kind of fantastic stories on things back in my earlier years of collecting. Needless to say, the B.S. detector worked over time back then. now, when I hear something, I just tell them I dont want to hear about it. And if jamie cross is reading this? you know DAMN well what im talking about?!!!?!!!

The Krims and Kubans are readily available and are starting to get just as high as anything else, but those are well worth it IMO. I still do not have a Kuban and am just biding my time on it. I want one that will easily match my Krim in appearance. Ive got two Narviks-one Navy, one Army. I thought about getting more of those too but, nah, ill stick with multiples of Krims and Kubans.

They can not be SHuCo Carl, they are not a documented maker of the Close Combat Clasp. They must be a different maker.

I NEED a cloth DKiG - for Christmas please ;-))

Great-looking Army Flak, whats the maker for it? I have one in about the same condition as yours is in and mine is maker marked but been so long since I last looked at it, I forgot who the maker was? I know it was made in Vienna.

BTW, great WKII Wound Badges. Ive got mint Blacks, the Silver is nice shape but not mint, the gold is mint.

Hi Rich and thanks. I just edited my post, they are FFLs ;-)) Its been almost 2 years since I last looked at these and forgot who the makers were. I got those from Frank. Same goes for my Army and LW Flaks. One that is easy for me to remember is the Pilots Badge I have which is Assmann w/ Stylized "A" The IABs I have, (10) I cant remember who all the makers were since some are either hollowbacks or unmarked. Fischer was kind enough to tell me what some were-and I have it written down somewhere? just dont know where? Anyway, I got 4 from him and two from Ted.

You have that correct Carl, both in the genes and as far as the 19th century I had (and still have) relatives serving and many of my buddies are cops. If you are willing to trade or sell a shiels , let me know . also I will have a look at your list over the weekend this is my lunch break , so I have to go back to work now.
