    any thing goes quiz.

    You have to have bailed out of aircraft, I would imagine in action as against a parachute club?

    Correct! The strict definition is that you have to have saved your life by using a parachute (I think it only applied to one brand, but I'm not sure on that). Members of the 'club' were typically sent a small certificate by the parachute manufacturer.

    We had a mostly wooden clock at our farm but that dosen't count does it?

    I too had a wooden clock.
    Wooden face, wooden hands, wooden pendulem, wouldn't work! ;) :D

    John Harrison built a clock entirely of wood (this was before he developed his Marine Chronometers). As to where it is, I would guess in his home town of Barrow on Humber, Lincolnshire

    Poland is the country but you can't come up with an answer like that, you might as well say Bavaria cos they make cuckoo clocks, no, I want the exact location of this particular clock! A clue?, 'what time is the next train?'
