The French.... The best examle how leadership influences its army: under Napoleon they fought like Rambo. In 1940 - well, not like Rambo anymore. Take a Danish soldier in April 1940. Excellent discipline: virtually no shooting at the orders from above. When requested to deliver weapons to the Germans, the Danish Army volunteers to INSTRUCT Germans in proper use of the weapons. And they do it. THIS I call discipline ! Teach your conqueror in using YOUR weapons. Then the Danish govt agrees to deliver volunteers to the Waffen SS. Some volunteer, fight the Sovietsbut not bravely enough and get sent to Yougoslavia. After the war, the remains of them get back to Denmark where they are sent to jail by the very same System that allowed them to go fight (a gallant gesture on the part of the Danish autorithies to show that Denmark was really on the right side). And they duly go to jail without a murmur. Gents, the Danish soldier is the most disciplined on Earth. Any objections?
