    Absolutely. I seem to remember one pilot in particular who Miller interviewed and references several times. Wonder if they will cast someone as Clark Gable?

    I didn't think Gable did all that much to be worth an episode, all though a cameo appearance would be nice.

    Now James "Jimmy" Stewart on the other hand, probably deserves to have his own miniseries.

    And then there is James "Jimmy" Doolittle.

    Yeah, absolutely. Doolittle.
    Wasn't Stewart a fighter jock?
    there isn't that much about him in the book. A passage. There's more about William Wyler and Gable and the other war correspondants. All together these would make a very interesting episode.

    It seems that the whole thing would be more interesting if it were not told chronologically, but by theme. Again, like "From the Earth To The Moon".

    Nope. Bombers - B-17s and B-24s, IIRC, with all of his combat time being in Liberator units.

    I just hope and pray the CGI directors and artists get it right. They've screwed up every CGI aerial combat film, ever.
