Hello. a French Lorraine 1938 L(Voiture Blindées de Chasseur Portés) ,supplying tractor used later by the German. Patrice
You know your obscure vehicles well! I would have guessed something Italian, maybe a flamethrower construction of some kind. Why would they fully track a supply vehicle?
Hello Roel. The picture posted by me262 shows a supply version. It is not the final model, the last model was to be without trailer and met the need to transport under shielding the infantry of accompaniment. it will have resembled the M113 a little,a little the ancestor of the Fighting vehicles of infantry. Patrice
So that's how you guess all those, Patrice! You've found me262's secret website source of obscure vehicles thingy!
Nice work, anyway. I don't believe I've guessed a single one of the literal dozens of pictures me262 has posted over about half a year now.
well, you meet your match , I , and I meet mine, patrice, cheers!!!!!!! btw the nickname of the mark IX was the duck, :-?
If you're going to name your tanks after animals, at least let them be ferocious killers or something, like Panther or Puma. Not duck and pig! It's horrible!
If you ever come across a wild boar then you will understand why calling something a pig isn't too bad. Now for wild boar hunting you do need a big gun and someone who knows how to use it.
hey, is not up to me to name those tanks, that is included in the info i got from my source :smok: so please do not blame me
They seem to be using metal floatation tanks here. Does anyone know why they opted for fabric screens on the DD shermans of WW2. Was it that to support the much heavier WW2 tanks metal floatation tanks would be have to be too big to be practical?
