Merlin. The choices were Python. Or Don. I think you have been the victim of a simultaneous posting. Do you want another go?
aziz Sorry David, crossed posts!! But go for yours! I'll get back to mine before Sunday!!! Ossie.. Rupert/Rodney, my Reg. informants tell me that a 'Rupert' is an officer under training before commissioning and a 'Rodney' is after!! DON! Quixote? or Bradman?
The Man who would be King (love the movie, and can't get that song out of my head...) Cakes or Poetry? (and no prizes if you have to ask the connection)
Seriously I have no idea what is going on here so I probably will break the trend and be threatened with that weird 18A rule Merlin was talking about on the 3 word story thread.
NOT Rule 18A... gasp.... To avoid an infinite amount of kipling (only for over 18's), it has to be Alfred: Lord Tennyson or Kinsley?
aziz Sorry Blaster but if you didn't read the rules when you signed in on this web site you can't really be blamed for not understanding '18A', but I'd advise you to check it out to avoid future embarrassment. Also, word of advice from a great grandad, if you don't know a word look it up on google, I do. (Quicky, back to Pancho, I believe Tom refered as a connection to ..Cisco or Pancho? If I remember correctly the 'Cisco Kid' had a Mexican sidekick by the name of 'Pancho', old Saturday cinema films, correct Tom?) OK, Rant over..... Go for Tennyson. Harold? or Becket? (tempted, tempted should I go for the Kinsley report??? see if we can't 'work it in ' later!)
