Went through the metal period. About 16 - 20. Total sausage party. The ladies would rather something else.
Good for gearing up, but want to gear down- the heartbeat has slowed, and so has the beat in my music. Just shoot me.

Tried to help CAC with posting videos or quotes...You have to enable Youtube, cookies enabled, etc...Could someone link the thread on how to post video and quotes?
Wanted to see the Skyhooks video:

Used to come here during slow times. But trying to view previously posted vids has become a real burden. Why is it so difficult to view videos a few pages back? Used to be easy and fast. ..This was a place to rock out and relax, now not so much. My settings have always been the same.

Hey thanks for doing that for me Pops! What did you think of the song? It was a hit here...may take a couple of listens...great clip.
I went through a metal period...Joined a metal band (UNDEAD) and grew my hair long...played bass. We were akin to Slayer...

Yeah, good. The vid with bandmates made it...Oh wow. Yeah, well like I said, went through that period. It was hard to meet the ladies. DJ bars were where the action was/is...Did I ever tell you about the time I saw the BeeGees in Anaheim? Loved that shit.

    As an aside:
Was testing fire alarm at an apartment. Buddy was painting suites. We started talking and he played drums, and we got on to April Wine (Canadian band). ..He goes out into the hallway and starts dinging the bell with 2 screwdrivers like they do on the record. lol.

Going to post BeeGee's because it is torture to go back farther than 3 pages in this thread.
This bass line was the bomb.

It's just that this is so catchy. Used to (4) wheel rollerskate to this.

Ran into Phil Alvin at the gas station in 1985 in Huntington Beach. Very unpretentious rock a billy musician. They played all over L.A. and the beach cities of So CA and No CA 77-82. This is at their height.

Thanks for that tidbit KB. He still has the old voice in that video. The two songs sound awfully similar, but can't sue yourself.
Wonder when that video was shot- because nobody owns a jean vest anymore. Would admit to actually owning one back in the day. Wore something akin to a mullet as well. But look at me now. I'm ok - yer ok.
And accordian buddy with the cut blanket jacket...that's just racist.
