This was shot in the 90's when Tejano music was just getting into the mainstream, well, the lower edge of the mainstream. Jean Jacket is Freddy Fender and Blanket Jacket is Flaco Jimenez who seems to have shown up in every Tex-Mex band in the last 25 years. They must sit around in Austin talking about forming Tejano bands and if they can't get Flaco, they give up and drink heavily.

Damn. Fell in love with this video. Who makes a video in a dirt basement/patio lights? Wonder if they even recorded the song there. The feeling in a dirt basement is - Earthy. Gotta trust the peeps down there with you. ...Been in that similar basement hundreds of times for work.
