It was an epic performance wasn't it. Last time I saw something like that, I thought it was Tina Turner and not Miley Cyrus... But afterwards see what she did on that stage with that... Well... Am not going to lie, that was me on stage before that trying to win those EuroVision tickets, took off my shirt, almost fell off stage trying to make love to a blow up doll my self tbh... Sorrows to drown, just finished work. 2014.
I just got a new copy of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D , Itzhak Perlman's version which I had not owned. I listen to music while I draw, the world goes away and I can concentrate. Violin in D is opne of my all time favorite pieces of music, never fails to give me goosebumps . It skims discordancy then goes into incredibly harmonious melody....not unlike life itself. When it was first preformed in Moscow the audience booed and jeered it off the stage and Tchaikovsky died before it was ever played again. Now all world class violinist have versions of it. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tchaikovsky+violin+concerto Gaines
Let me ask you...I like (I like a lot of music) the sound of the Viola and also the sound of a bowed Cello. I like anything that sounds "good". What you you recommend (that I can buy on CD) to a 55 year old that listens mostly to: Blues Blues-Rock Country Country-Rock Jazz... especially jazz based on Gershwin, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Hoagy Carmichael (etc etc) tunes. Thank You
Depeche Mode, one of my favourite bands. I've seeing them twice and am looking forward for more... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stpaq27-V70
