Yesterday, my neighbor had a picnic with lots of loud music and I had to bear all that garbage. Unfortunately, bad taste for music isn't punishable by the law.
Ode to pioneers of the genre. (pagan metal) . Hildebrandslied by Menhir. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCOCiXk6ZMM
Marvellous. Despite gigabytes of curious military/political/WW2 tunes, from Miscarea Legionara through the BUF and onto the Red Army Choir, I realise I have not one single piece of Japanese Imperial stuff. Must further rectify this. I was quite partial to the high strangeness of Shonen Knife gigs for a while... not quite sure that counts though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4DUdjE5Bjc
Judas Priest - Painkiller I don't know if I posted this one before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ4Nel-aHZM
Escondido is a nice avocado farming valley. Pretty bucolic setting east of Camp Pendleton. Avocados grow best on rolling hillsides. -----Listening to 6 hours of Vivaldi a lot. Love his Concertos for violin. Here you go: he is right there w Mozart, Bach, Beethoven imho -_________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2uOGOqIyC4&list=LLvDgF7cU9GuAlpg8oe9ssWg ____________The lovely palace pictured is outside his home town of Venice and is id'd in the comments below the upload.
ABC made Lexicon of love II. Sounds better than the last couple efforts by them but still not quite convinced...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRxWtOaSxqk&list=RDhRxWtOaSxqk This is a great oldie and a goodie in my book. When I was in basic training back in the 70s, we'd sing this song in cadence while marching to and from the training areas. The drill sergeant would call out a line, then the whole company would follow suite. It made marching in the rain a little more bearable. Not much though, but just a little bit.
