So, that means there's no crime in Britain, right? No guns = no crime according to the liberals (that's the people who call other Americans Un-American for doing things America stands for).
As I'm sure you already know there's rising gun crime, typically because the only people who can own pistols are crims. Even our olympic pistol target team have to practice abroad, although come the London games this law will be temporary waived. Even as someone who grew up with guns I'm getting a little peeved with the development of over-regulation, not only of ownership but use and some related activities, such as the prep of hunt kills. Even toys are affected, so if you want to buy an airsoft RIF you not only have to be over 18 but you have to be registered... It's a knee jerk reaction of course, presents no solution and splits our society into three groups. i) Gun owners, typically keeping our heads down to avoid being labelled a gun nut, despite training, education and a safety streak a mile wide. ii) Anti-gun nuts, all guns are morally incorrect and other collective misunderstandings. iii) Armed crims, the true gun nuts who will eventually outnumber the legal gun owners and who don't give a damn about anything other than looking tough. Sad times...
"Who told you that A58...weve got plenty of guns mate." I figured that y'all had gun laws like in Canada. They have no gun crime up there since there are no guns there either, or so I've heard. I've only been there 3 times to go skiing and drink beer, but went unarmed, and only saw weapons on the mounties. I think they were mounties, but they didn't wear redcoats like on TV. Sad times... I think the democrats want to implement a similar program over here one day, and a similar health program too. Yes, sad times indeed. Even if such a law was passed, I don't think that there will be much popular support for it. And they thought prohibition was a fiasco.
