Original post that started the thread. And yes, I know a thread takes on its own identity after awhile, especially 2 years but I see the pissing contest beginning to start.

This an alternate history thread. There is supposed to be tons of throwing s__t against the wall and trying to make it stick.

I guess I tend to throw fuel on the fire as well, but this doesn't work if no one is willing accept anyone's ideas. There are many smart people on this forum who have a vast and particular historical knowledge.
