    I remain opitimistic for this film.

    It won't be Band of Brothers, but on the other hand I don't think it will be another Pearl Harbor either.

    Wow, don't get me started on that one. Funny tidbits about the movie:

    1) When the nurses get to Pearl and they are walking towards the men, you can see the Arizona Memorial in the background (unconfirmed by me).

    2) It's 1941 and not one person is smoking?!

    3) One of the buildings in the movie has a plague that reads EST. 1954 (forget where in the movie).

    Well the movie was made by Touchstone Pictures, which was one of the alternate film labels for Walt Disney Productions. So I guess the head honchos at Disney asked Bruckheimer, Wallace, and Bay to omit as much smoking as possible so it wouldn't be a bad influence to minors.:confused:
