Thanks for the kind words TA. Things made a complete 360 over here and everything is back to normal. Thank God. Come on guys, my question isn't that hard. 9 companies are in the regiment (Able through Item). You can rule out Easy and Dog. Fox company was at the right flank. That leaves 6 out of 9. Take a guess. [ 12. September 2005, 07:09 PM: Message edited by: Col. Hessler ]
Baker company Should have taken a 180 turn. A 360 will put you back where you were. You have to be a space commander like me to know stuff like that!!
You're always criticizing me TA! I had 180, then I edited my post and put 360. It sounded better. The answer to the question is Item Company. I'll ask a real easy one this time. Who did Robert Shaw play in the movie Battle of the Bulge?
I still am saying the TR-6 is a car. This site says it was a Triumph 650. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057115/goofs Col. Martin Hessler
Yep, that's right. Not only do you get to ask a question, you win a Colonel Hessler action figure! </font> http://www.24hourmuseum.org.uk/nwh_gfx_en/ART24892.html "A copy of the Triumph TR6 Trophy motorcycle ridden by McQueen is on display."</font> http://www.motorcycledaily.com/08july02triumph100.html "Stunt man stand-in Bud Ekins did the famous jump over the barbed-wire fence aboard a TR6 to escape the Nazis."</font> http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/main.jhtml?xml=/motoring/2005/04/02/mftri02.xml "Playing Virgil Hilts in The Great Escape, McQueen made his disastrous leap for freedom on a Triumph (doubly incongruous, as it was a 1961 TR6 supposedly stolen from a German soldier."</font> http://www.ianchadwick.com/motorcycles/triumph/time03.html "Steve McQueen rides a TR6 in movie 'The Great Escape.'"</font> [ 13. Staying with the Colonel theme. Col. Klink was a pilot, although he never said the type of aircraft he did say the manufacturer in one show. Name the manufacturer. I wish I knew something about motorcycles, other than they make alot of noise!! Cool action figure, but I like Barbie best!!
Lets see, I don't see Klink as a fighter pilot, so that leaves the Focke Wolf and Messersmitt out. So that probably means a Junkers.
Martin wins a ticket to a BoY George concert of his choice. I bet you have not even seen the show 'Hogan's Heros' have you ? And no comment on my cool song I found for you on anouther thread!! I hope your crummpets get soggy.
Whose Heroes ? My computer is still recovering from it's BOC attack ( ) and now you'll all have to wait for the next question.....
Ask a motorcycle question I scanned my computer and did not have anything on it, hope yours is better by now. You could ask for rock and roll songs related to WWII such as BOC however that is the only one I know of.
OK -everyone knows Steve McQueen did all his own motorcycle stunt-riding in The Great Escape . Didn't he...?
Where did I see this before ? Some strange person said he used a British motorcycle instead of a BMW.
The 60 foot jump over the Austrian-Swiss border fence was performed by stuntman Bud Ekins... in a TR-6 of course
