    i got me in to a little trouble, cos the ar 234's landing struts are too short, about 1/4 inch,so i have to add an extension for it, the problem is that the plane is tail heavy, very heavy and needed to add some counterweight on the nose, i just hope that the struts with the extension can hold the whole plane

    I'm currently working on a US Stuart light tank by Tamiya. To make it appear unique I added a tarpaulin, but does anyone have some other ideas for extra details?

    Lots of ideas.Branches,bushes...etc. for camouflage.
    Anything that wouldn't fit in the tank.Ammo crates,fuel drums,canvas bags stuffed with supplies.Helmets,rifles.
    Spare parts such as tracks or wheels which also doubled as extra armor.
    Everything I've mentioned is available as some type of kit.
    Check out squadron.com.Search under ARMOR ACCESORIES.

    :angry: That is so frustrating!
    My worst yet is managing to lose a complete kit I was halfway through converting (Tiger I to Sturmtiger). All I have now are the exhaust pipes... :cry:

    It was in a box on the floor next our dining room table, along with the rest of my 'ready use' modelling stuff. Until my parents decided to tidy the dining room. I have not seen it since, and they claim no knowledge. The exhaust pipes were in with my modelling stuff, as they were under construction at the time.

    )
    i cut 1/8 squares of masking tape, i started the painting first the white then the black and last the silver, as you can imagine it was a mess using all that masking tape ( a lot of residual glues on all the masked surfaces :angry:

    Me 262, some really nice pictures there. Thanks a lot for sharing. It's really nice to see how you complete a model piece by piece by photoghraphing all pieces. Great! And please, don't worry about the silver on the nose of the p-51. You can simply paint it over with flat black and I think it'll be allright.

    Ricky, you must have been very upset when you lost the converted Tiger.. at least, I would have been! :eek:
