Caught cable showing Merill's Marauders last night. Even if I have seen this movie before, I decided to watch it again. I still get a kick when I see the Filipino actor Pancho Magalona declare "Death to the tyrants" in Tagalog during one scene in the movie.
Cricket? I find that quite boring especially when you are watching it at 1 in the moring with excitment every 2 hours or so. I like the moto GP but don't watch that much of it really. Not the kelly brothers, Greg Murphy, yeah, go to the Kiwis lol. At least we got yo be good at something. At least it is still Holden.
All kinds of movies over the weekend for Memorial Day. Tobruk MacArthur Flags of our Fathers Jarhead Tora Tora Tora And a few more I didn't get to watch

Watched a document on Mauthausen Kz camp made in 2005. "Interesting" details and some new info. Must say that having a McDonalds sign and underneath that name Mauthausen did not make me very hungry....
I just watched 'The One That Got Away'. starring the always watchable Hardy Krüger as Franz von Werra, a German Luftwaffe pilot captured and imprisoned in England. After numerous escapes, evasions and recaptures, he's finally shipped off to a POW camp in Canada. En route across Canada, he escapes from the train and makes his way to (then) neutral USA. According to the end credits, he was held in the US and ultimately escaped again and made his way to Mexico and eventually returned to Germany, where he was lost the following year in combat over the English Channel. An entertaining little film that I had not heard of before. -whatever -Lou

Hi Scott, Lou, Lou, I too watched: "The One That Got Away." I think im going to see if its on DvD yet? SCott, many thanks ;-)) That PotA TV series was really just starting to get going. The last episode was one where a Human was flying a Glider and the Apes could not believe it. Anyway, had that show been given more of a chance, I think it could have lasted a few more seasons. Oh and, I don't know if you Gents have a Wal_Mart near ya but, if so, check out their tribute to Frank Sinatra. I saw at least two movies I want badly-which are: None But the Brave and Sergeants Three. I had not even known those had been released until I went there last week-but did not have enough with me to buy them.
